Our Review Policy

Can I leave a review for my instructor?

Absolutely. You can leave a review, positive or negative, for any music instructor you’ve worked with through MusicProfs.ca. To leave a review, login to your account, visit the instructor’s profile page, click on the star on the right of the teacher’s name and leave your review. It’s an easy process and we encourage all of our students to actively review their instructors to provide feedback for other potential students.

Do you only post the positive reviews?

Absolutely NOT! We are adamant about creating a useful and well-rounded resource of all music instructors throughout Canada, and that means providing our registered students with reliable reviews on potential instructors – good and bad.

I posted a review of my instructor, why haven’t you posted it yet?

A live person reads and moderates all submitted reviews. This can take up to two days.

Do you publish reviews with inappropriate or offensive language?

No, to maintain the quality of the website, and because our website is visited by people of all ages, we don’t publish reviews with inappropriate or offensive language. You are free to leave a negative review, however, as long as it’s free from profanity and offensive comments.

Why do you moderate your reviews?
